Overview
This guide documents the complete patient journey in RiteCareDoctor, from initial registration through billing. It shows how the Medical Secretary and Doctor roles work together.

Phase 1: Patient Registration

New Patient Registration
When a new patient arrives at the clinic for the first time:
- Navigate to Patients - Click Patients in the sidebar
- Click + New Patient
- Enter Patient Information:
- Personal Info: First Name, Last Name, Middle Name
- Demographics: Date of Birth, Gender, Civil Status
- Contact: Mobile Number, Email Address
- Address: Complete home address
- Emergency Contact: Name, Relationship, Phone
- Add HMO Information (if applicable)
- Save Patient Record
Duplicate Detection: The system automatically checks for existing patients with the same name, birthdate, and gender to prevent duplicate records.
Returning Patient
- Search for patient (name, phone, or patient ID)
- Verify information is current
- Update if necessary
Phase 2: Appointment Booking
Performed by: Medical Secretary
Scheduled Appointment
For patients who call ahead or book online:
- Click + Book Appointment
- Search and select patient
- Choose doctor
- Select date from calendar
- Pick available time slot
- Add appointment reason
- Confirm booking
Walk-In Appointment
For patients who arrive without prior booking:
- Click + Walk-In button
- Search or create patient
- Select doctor
- Choose reason for visit
- Patient is immediately added to queue
Phase 3: Patient Check-In

- Locate Appointment - Find patient in Scheduled column
- Verify Identity - Confirm patient identity
- Perform Check-In - Click Check-In button
- Record Vital Signs:

- Ensure all documentation is complete
- Click End Consultation
- Patient moves to For Billing
- Secretary is notified to create invoice
Phase 5: Billing and Payment

Invoice Creation
- Locate Patient - Find in For Billing column
- Create Invoice - System pre-populates consultation fee
- Add Line Items:

- Enter amount and payment method
- Print receipt
- Patient may leave
